Once again, the corrupt Biden Justice Department is targeting former President Donald Trump and his allies. The case of Walt Nauta, a Navy veteran and former aide to Trump, is a clear example. Nauta is facing six federal charges including conspiracy to obstruct justice and making false statements to federal agents according to the New York Post. If convicted, he may spend decades in prison and be forced to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.
But what’s truly alarming is the lengths the Justice Department will go to in order to take down anyone associated with Trump. In a shocking revelation from recently unsealed documents, we learn that one of DOJ’s top lawyers threatened Stanley Woodward, Nauta’s attorney.
The details are nothing short of scandalous. Woodward met with DOJ prosecutor Jay Bratt to discuss Nauta’s case. During this meeting, Bratt warned Woodward against representing Nauta. He even went so far as threatening Woodward’s potential judgeship appointment under President Biden if he chose to defend his client.

This blatant intimidation is a direct attack on the American justice system. It’s a clear message from the DOJ: ‘play ball or you have no chance of becoming a judge.’
President Trump, always standing up for those targeted by the corrupt Biden administration, defended Nauta on Truth Social. He condemned the Justice Department’s actions as another instance of targeting his top political rivals.
In his own words, “I have just learned that the ‘Thugs’ from the Department of Injustice will be Indicting a wonderful man, Walt Nauta…They are trying to destroy his life, like the lives of so many others, hoping that he will say bad things about ‘Trump.’ He is strong, brave, and a Great Patriot. The FBI and DOJ are CORRUPT!”
James Trusty, a former Trump lawyer echoed these sentiments. He said Woodward didn’t deserve such strong-arming by Bratt. “He apparently…extorted a very well-respected, very intelligent lawyer from Washington, DC,” Trusty said.
The corruption doesn’t stop there. U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon ordered special counsel Jack Smith to unseal portions of evidence containing testimony from members of the National Archives. This testimony confirms that the pursuit of sensitive documents can continue long after a president has left office. U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, who has claimed that Smith’s probe is independent, was revealed to have approved a ‘full investigation’ into retrieving classified documents from Mar-a-Lago.
This is the state of our justice system under Biden’s leadership: intimidation, corruption, and a relentless witch hunt against anyone associated with President Trump.
