WATCH: Kamala Claps Along to Song Protesting Her Visit in Puerto Rico

On Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris took a trip to Puerto Rico, where she was not given a warm welcome.

After delivering remarks in the territory’s capital of San Juan, Harris was videoed clapping along to a song that protested her visit. That is, until an aide translated the lyrics for her and then her demeanor immediately changed.

Upon realizing what the song was about, she nodded and folded her hands in front of her.

AWKWARD.

Breitbart reports:

A group of protesters holding signs with messages, including “Kamala Harris war criminal,” and calling the United States “genocidal” met the vice president outside of the community center, along with a band playing music.

Video captured the hilarious moment when Harris went from smiling and clapping along to dropping her hands when a staffer next to her reportedly translated the Spanish lyrics.

Hilarious indeed. The lyrics translated to, “We want to know, Kamala, what did you come here for? We want to know what you think of the colony.”

According to Puerto Rican journalist Istra Pacheco, the activist also sang, “Long live Free Palestine and Haiti too.”

The full song went, “We want to know, Kamala What did you come here for? We want to know, Kamala We want to see If you’re going to talk about law 60 Or about the Fiscal Control Board The vicepresident is here Making history We want to know What she thinks of the colony We will keep playing The plena of our country Long live Free Palestine and Haiti too!”
