VIDEO: Was This a Wrongful Death or Legal Act of Self Defense?

SEPTA subway in University City has suspended services after a man died on the tracks following an altercation, which was caught on video.

In the footage, two men can be seen arguing in the underground station on Thursday afternoon.

The bigger man appears to be bullying the smaller man with his back against the wall, and acts like he is going to strike him multiple times. When the smaller man fights back, the bigger man falls onto the tracks in front of an oncoming train.

Was this a homicide or an act of self defense? Decide for yourself:

According to authorities, the train was unable to stop so the man was hit and killed. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Fox 29 reports, “Police are reporting no one is in custody and an investigation is ongoing. SEPTA suspended service on the Market-Frankford Line between 30th and 40th Street Stations due to the police activity, and shuttle buses were operating between the two stations.”
