Senator Chuck Schumer pushed for former President Donald Trump’s impeachment and voted to convict him during the impeachment trials. He spent four years attempting to remove Trump from office and failed miserably. He knew the claims against Trump were lies but he hated him enough to go along with it.
Now, Schumer is claiming that the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden is a “witch hunt,” despite the mounting evidence against him.
The senator declared, “I think the impeachment inquiry is absurd. The American people want us to do something that will make their lives better, not go off on these chases and, uh, witch hunts.”
Schumer added, “The bottom line is, as we have said, you can only accomplish keeping the government open in a bipartisan way.”
