On Thursday, Republican presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump announced that the Justice Department had indicted him in connection to the bogus classified documents case.
On Saturday, Trump scorched the “Democrat communists” who “want to jail their opponents” during his address at the Georgia Republican Party state convention.
He also reiterated that corrupt politicians aren’t coming after him. They are coming after Americans’ constitutional rights and freedoms, and he just happens to be standing in their way.

Trump’s prepared remarks for the event read, “Together, we stand up to the globalists. We stand up to the Marxists. We stand up to the RINOs, Communists, and environmental extremists. We stand up to the Open Borders fanatics, the Radical Left Democrats, their lawless partisan prosecutors, and the Fake News media.”
He continued, “On November 5th, 2024, we are going to stand up to the corrupt political establishment, we are going to evict a totally corrupt Joe Biden from the White House, and we are going to FINISH what we started!”

Trump declared, “In the end, they’re not coming after ME, they’re coming after YOU—and I’m just standing in their way.”
He added, “We now have two standards of justice in our country. The Democrat Communists want to jail their opponents while they protect the murderers who prowl our cities day and night, and other brazen criminals.”
Trump announced plans to “completely overhaul” the DOJ to “investigate every radical DA in America for their illegal” and “racist” enforcement of the law.

He also addressed his plans to end both the war in Ukraine and the United States’ economic dependence on China:
