Senator Josh Hawley has received shocking information from whistleblowers, accusing the Biden DHS of irresponsibly assigning “unprepared and inexperienced personnel” to President Trump, who shockingly weren’t even part of the Secret Service.
Hawley expressed his anger and concern in a letter to Mayorkas. “I have been approached by whistleblowers with direct knowledge of the event. They allege that the July 13 rally was recklessly handled as a ‘loose’ security event,” he wrote furiously.

He went on to describe the glaring lapses in security measures. “For example, detection canines were not used in their usual role for monitoring entry and detecting threats. It allowed individuals without proper designations to gain access to restricted backstage areas.”
The senator also pointed out how the personnel failed miserably at their job. “Department staff did not maintain an adequate security buffer around the podium nor were they stationed regularly around the event’s security perimeter.”

What angered him more was learning about allegations suggesting most of DHS officials present were not even USSS agents but were from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). “This is deeply troubling considering that HSI agents are unfamiliar with standard protocols generally employed at these types of events,” he wrote, echoing whistleblower allegations.
