In a powerful display of courage, the 45th President Donald Trump addressed delegates at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Thursday. Defying odds after an assassination attempt that almost claimed his life over the weekend, he stated with humility and resilience, “I’m not supposed to be here,” to which the audience passionately disagreed chanting back, “Yes you are! Yes you are!”
Trump chose to narrate his harrowing experience from the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania only once due to its distressing nature.
The President described how the bullet hit his ear with such force that it left him bewildered. He soon understood it was gunfire and instinctively took cover while Secret Service agents jumped into action.

A testament to his quick reflexes and divine intervention, Trump revealed that had he not turned just in time, instead of hitting his ear, the bullet could have penetrated his skull. The difference between life and death for our determined leader was merely a quarter of an inch.
“I’m not supposed to be here tonight,” Trump shared, alluding to the closeness of the bullet. The audience, however, refused to entertain such a notion and responded with a resounding “Yes you are! Yes you are,” turning it into a powerful chant.

Despite his initial statement, Trump smiled and agreed that God’s plan for him was far removed from the sinister intentions of his would-be assassin.
The President’s survival was indeed an act of divine intervention. Standing on the stage, he declared, only by the grace of Almighty God, drawing applause from his supporters.
I think people misunderstood the context of the comment that he shouldn’t be there!!!!! He meant that the bullet was intended to prevent him from being there, not that he didn’t deserve to be ther, at least that is they way I interpreted ite!!!!!!!!!!
