After Tucker Carlson confirmed that he is in Moscow to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin, CNN anchor Abby Phillips had a meltdown, claiming that Carlson is not a real journalist.
The clip of Tucker announcing the interview played as he said, “We’re here to interview the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.”
Phillips then said while seemingly fighting back water works, “Tucker Carlson is lying from the streets of Russia, no less.”

Back to clip of Tucker speaking, “Not a single Western journalist has bothered to interview the president of the other country involved in this [Ukraine] conflict, Vladimir Putin.”
To which Phillips shot back, “That’s a lie. Serious news outlets, including CNN, have requested Putin to interview over and over again.”
If he’s not a real journalist, why would CNN even spend precious airtime to cover what he’s doing or who he’s interviewing? ????

Tucker continued, “Most Americans have no idea why Putin invaded Ukraine or what his goals are now. They’ve never heard his voice.”
Phillips whined, “Another lie. Serious news outlets, including CNN, have covered and reported on Putin’s words since this war began. Including one of his baseless justifications for the invasion of Ukraine, which he initially claimed was to stop the Nazis.”
They’re simply jealous he got the interview that they could not.
