Starbucks’ Latest Stunt Proves They Are Absolute TRASH

Starbucks just fired a man they should have promoted, proving they really are a trash company.

20-year-old Michael Harrison was employed at a Starbucks in downtown St. Louis, working while he put himself through paramedic school. He was fired after fighting off two thugs who attempted to rob the store.

According to reports, the thugs ran in with guns and ordered everyone to get on the floor. Then they instructed Harrison to open the cash register. However, he was unable to do so because he did not have the credentials.

In response, the thugs went through Harrison’s pockets and then pistol whipped him.

A co-worker  believed the gun was fake and started fighting the robbers off, and Harrison jumped in to help. He subdued Joshua Noe who was arrested later, and Marquise Porter-Doyle was arrested nearby.

Despite being hailed a hero by local media and police, Starbucks put Harrison and his coworker on a paid leave for two weeks and then fired them once they returned for allegedly “violating company policy.”

“In situations like this, our training and protocols guide our partners to comply and de-escalate, not just for their safety but for the safety of all in the store,” Starbucks said.

“That job was helping me pay for college,” Harrison said. “I just don’t understand it. I thought it was the right thing to do.”

  • It was the right thing to do. Starbucks has an attitude. They think they’re all that and then some. They aren’t. They aren’t even close. I don’t usually buy coffee out, but if I do, I’m going to the Donut.

  • It WAS the right thing to do, and the public recognized it! But in our upside down world, good has become evil, and evil has become good. Obviously Starbucks is a splendid example of this, and I feel bad that this young man “did the right thing” and got burned. To him I would say, there is plenty of other fish in the sea. Maybe he can find one that values an employee sticking up for place of employment, and not getting canned for doing so.

  • Fighting off the thugs was the right and honorable thing to do. Starbucks is just following the leftist political path of encouraging crime to break down American society. I no longer patronize Starbucks; I was a very loyal customer for decades (in the US and around the world), but after I became aware of their anti-American activity, I cannot stomach their trade. Surely some other more honorable employer will need a good man. Good luck.

  • There are a lot of locally owned, independent coffee shops to take my business that serve excellent coffee and do not dictate politics and appreciate their employees and customers.

  • BOYCOTT this Left Wing Marxist Anti-American company. I have for over 20yrs, when they refused to send coffee to our troops during the Iraq War.

  • Starbucks is also anti-military. I wouldn’t spend my money there. Besides, New Orleans has the best coffee (cafe aulait) in the world. You can have expresso.

  • It just goes to show how unpatriotic and stupid Americans have become. Even in my once VERY conservative area there is a new Starbucks with the drive-thru line going around the building waiting on their insanely priced bad coffee. I can get a better cup of coffee at my corner store for $1.00 over the $7.00 communist blend. Americans no longer carry American pride because if they did, Marxist businesses like Starbucks and Ben & Jerry’s would go out of business very quickly.

  • Let US not forget that Starbucks is from Seattle the land of LIBERAL IGNORANCE and COMMIE LOVERS. They do not even know what coffee is much less that these two young men did something good by stopping the Thieves
