On Friday, a United Airlines plane collided with a Delta aircraft at the Boston Logan International Airport.
According to reports, the wing of the United flight clipped the tail end of the Delta plane…and it was caught on film!
Check it out:
A family on the United flight noted the two planes getting too close. That is when their kids pulled out their phones and started recording, right as the collision occurred.
Another passenger, Daniel Frederickson, also pulled out his cellphone to record as well.
Daily Mail reports:
Daniel Frederickson, pulled out his cellphone as he saw the United flight approaching.
‘We were driving through the tarmac, and I saw this other plane stationary, and it hit the other plane,’ the boy who was traveling to Brazil with his family told the local news station.
‘I knew it was going to happen, so I caught it on video.’
“I knew it was going to happen!”

In that footage, Daniel could be heard saying, ‘It’s not gonna, it’s not gonna, it’s not,’ as the United flight slowly backs up into the wing of the Delta plane.
‘Oh, it did,’ another child says as the two planes collide.
Daniel said he could ‘feel the planes bumping together,’ and said the experience was ‘a little bit scary.’

No injuries were reported in the runway disaster, however, the incident is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
All passengers on both flights were rebooked. A United spokesperson said, “Customers on the United aircraft deplaned normally at the gate, and we will rebook them onto other flights.”

Delta passengers were also moved to another flight that arrived an hour later. One passenger posted online and said that the airline ordered the customers pizzas for the inconvenience.
Delta rebooked all passengers on a new flight, scheduled to depart in one hour. Same pilots & flight crew. Also – pizza is (allegedly) en route.

“While there are no reported injuries to our customers or crew on Delta flight 1657, the aircraft came into contact with another aircraft while awaiting takeoff clearance on the Logan Airfield,” a Delta spokesperson said. “Delta teams are working to get customers to their final destinations tonight, and we apologize for the delay.”
Thank God it ddn’t happen in flight or on takeoff or landing.
This is what happens when airlines hire unqualified pilots just to say they promote “diversity” and “equality”. Innocent people will die because of this WOKE stupidity.
Oh … soooo – the FAA is gonna throw $100m at the problem when all along planes on the ground depend on low paid flagging people to watch out for proper aircraft separation. Airlines as well as municipal airports, in this case, an airport with Democrat City rule is part and parcel of the sloppiness Democrat mayors with airports to run wind up with when normal airport workers are working untrained and most times are just filling a slot. Their safety agenda is most times not the priority it should be.
News anchors will do anything for story, stating a near catastrophe and disaster!” Please! The planes barely moving and at best bumped into other planes tail, like two cars barely moving bumping into each other as one backs up. Quit trying to ‘over sensationalize things. We have enough problems in this world.
